We are looking for an enthusiastic “Restaurant Supervisor” to provide an excellent guest in room dining experience .
Key Responsibilities
· Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline employees in the restaurant to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
· Actively participate and contribute in marketing and promotional activities, both within the restaurant of the Resort and outside.
· Control labor expenses through effective scheduling and inventory control while focusing on creative revenue generation solutions to maximize profit.
· The ability to be visible in the operation, recognize, nurture and maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new patrons to ultimately increase loyalty as a key business driver.
· Excellent food and beverage product knowledge
· Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
· Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
· Create and nurture a great place to work for all.
· Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Qualifications
· Minimum high school (preferably Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools Tourism-Hotel Management department) diploma, preferably BSc degree from the Tourism and Hotel Management Department,
· Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory position in luxury hotel/restaurant environment,
· Ability to use Micros POS,
· Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language,
· Highly self motivated and able to motivate others,
· Have an in-depth knowledge of food and its preparation,
· Have a good knowledge of wine and beverages,
· Be able to relate to all levels of guest and management,
· Have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time,
· Must have excellent attention to details, and extensive service knowledge,
· Presentable, giving importance to its appearance and personal hygiene / care
· Having a guest-oriented service approach,
· Prone to teamwork,
· Ability to work, weekend, nights and holidays.
