We are looking for an enthusiastic “Room Service Captain” to provide an excellent guest in room dining experience .
Key Responsibilities
· Receive orders via telephone and deliver food and beverage directly to guests rooms.
· Supervise Room Service team and operational duties during Manager’s absence.
· Develop, coach and train team members under a Biblos service standards.
· Address guest comments or concerns pro-actively.
· Plan & assign team duties on weekly / monthly basis.
· Track weekly orders for Room Service and Spa Bar.
· Make special orders for Room Service and Spa Bar when necessary
· Attend weekly Food & Beverage meeting
· Handle guest requests/complaints and authorize compensation when necessary
Qualifications
· Minimum high school (preferably Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools Tourism-Hotel Management department) diploma, preferably BSc degree from the Tourism and Hotel Management Department,
· Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory position in luxury hotel/restaurant environment,
· Ability to use Micros POS,
· Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language,
· Highly self motivated and able to motivate others,
· Have an in-depth knowledge of food and its preparation,
· Have a good knowledge of wine and beverages,
· Be able to relate to all levels of guest and management,
· Have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time,
· Must have excellent attention to details, and extensive service knowledge,
· Presentable, giving importance to its appearance and personal hygiene / care
· Having a guest-oriented service approach,
· Prone to teamwork,
· Ability to work, weekend, nights and holidays.
