QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced ‘Safety Maintenance Engineer’ and a good team member, who will work at the SunExpress Headquarter Antalya.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering as Aerospace/Aeronautical, Astronautical, Mechanical, Industrial,
- Experience in civil aviation in terms of Part 145, Part 21J, Part 21G,
- Formal Part 145 Training,
- Formal Part 21J & 21G Training,
- Good knowledge of English and Turkish (in writing and speaking),
- Familiarization with related regulations (SHT-145, EASA Part 145, EASA Part 21, etc.),
- Ability to use a computer, e.g. MS Office applications,
- Being confidential and open-minded,
- Strong discussion skills and analysis /synthesis capabilities,
- High learning capability, quick adaptation to changes,
- Being target-oriented, ability to set priorities for effective time management,
- Organizational and teamwork ability,
- High responsibility and stress resistance,
- Willingness to develop Safety Management System skills.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Implementation and maintenance of Safety Management System in Part 145 and Part 21
- Performing hazard identification process:
- Registering, maintaining, and following up of the safety occurrences/reports,
- Performing and following up of MEDA reports, assessments, and/or investigations,
- Coordinating, preparing, and submitting the mandatory reports to pertinent authorities.
- Performing Safety Assurance processes:
- Following up of safety performance indicator (SPI) trends for necessary actions,
- Handling of Management of Change process.
- Performing safety risk management:
- Monitoring corrective actions and safety trends.
- Performing safety promotion:
- Conducting SMS Training,
- Following up on national and international rules and regulations,
- Collecting and preparing material/data for safety publications.
Additional Information:
Preferably experienced in aviation for:
- Safety Management System (SMS),
- Compliance Monitoring and Standardization Management System.
