QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Director to be employed in our HQ offices located in Gebze, Çayırova.

Qualifications

· Holding a Bachelor degree from Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering.

· In depth knowledge of the technical qualities of steel.

· Knowledge of international standards and grades as well as incoterms.

· Experience in the steel market with P&L responsibility.

· Minimum 10 years of experience in managing sales teams.

· Highly skilled in MS Office programs.

· Advanced level of English.

· In depth knowledge of B2B sales and value based selling

· B class driving license.

Soft Skills

· Skilled in developing sales strategies and forecasting.

· Skilled in negotiations.

· Having a good business sense.

· Having a high sense of integrity.

· Initiative, self driven and enthusiastic.

· Leadership skills with proven experience in motivating and empowering teams.

· Great at interpersonal and communication skills.

· Willingness to travel to other countries in the region.

Responsibilities

1. Design projects for reaching new markets and form new customer groups.

2. Introduce the new material and create profitable growth.

3. Develop new customers and segments in line with brand strategy

4. In order to develop customer portfolio, make technical visits to customers periodically, organize seminars and trainings, ensure that customers receive telemarketing service.

5. Organize the technical visits of branch offices and the distributors according to customer needs, ensure that branch offices and distributors are supported technically.

6. Ensure that marketing materials are prepared to enrich and develop the brand's image.

7. Design marketing strategy of the brand in the social media and manage.

8. Gather and evaluate info regarding market, competitors and their products, monitor customers

9. Design general sales strategies and procedures, share with top management, convey necessary information. Convey sales strategies and procedures to the sales departments/units and ensure they are applied efficiently.

10. Ensure that aftersales follow up is made and support collection process.

11. Follow up the conformity between the stock numbers and sales numbers of HQ and branches, determine the shorts and form purchasing orders.

12. Prepare all related sales reports and present to management, ensure that sales database is updated.

13. Establish sound relations with mill stakeholders and peers.

14. Determine the Pricing strategy prices for HQ and the branches.

15. Make visits to key accounts.

16. Managing budget for sales and marketing.

17. Make data analysis surveys to know the target customer groups.

18. Ensure that customer complaints are solved, support to take preventive measures to improve quality.

19. Run periodical surveys to measure customer satisfaction.

20. Work on individual development plans to empower his team, both technically and in soft skills.

21. Facilitate cross boarder business with International customers.
