International Sales & Marketing Specialist in Maritime Industry
Talented and competitive Sales & Marketing Specialist is invited to be a part of Rock Harbour & Izmir Shipyard team with high level of motivation in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
An ideal candidate is passionate about the sea, boats and boat building, is a self-sufficient person, and is comfortable interacting domestic and international customers, making calls, meetings, presentations, qualifying prospects, generating interest, and closing sales.
Specifically you are expected to
- Sell company products and services by developing new prospects and accounts
- Identify, research and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat businesses
- Follow up with leads in all stages of the sales
- Develop deep understanding of customer needs and expectations;sustain long-lasting relationships with customers
- Build, prioritize and manage an effective pipeline of leads
- Prepare, review, and finalize sales proposals
- Create and organize CRM archive
- Achieve or exceed monthly/annual revenue quotas and objectives
- Utilize social media platforms to garner customer interest and create brand awareness
- Develop effective sales strategies to increase company sales
- Collaborate with the marketing design and content marketing teams to produce quality advertising material for company products and services
- Maintain an accurate record of past campaign results to determine the most effective marketing approaches
- Analyze market trends, sales and marketing metrics, as well as pricing strategies to identify ways to improve sales and marketing efforts
- Plan/arrange/manage international exhibitions
Sales and Marketing Specialist Requirements
- Proven background in Sales and Marketing; preferably in marine or related industries
- Educational background preferably in engineering or relevant subjects
- Fluent in Turkish & English; other languages is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in both languages
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and marketing software
- A friendly, outgoing personality who loves interacting with customers both at commercial and governmental levels
- Sound knowledge of sales and marketing metrics
- The ability to anticipate consumer behaviour
- Self-driven, motivated and results oriented
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to endure sometimes intensive travels both nationally and international
