GENEL NİTELİKLER

A key role in assisting the sales team, the Sales Engineer prepares sales proposals for Motion, System Drives in Istanbul, Turkey. Reporting to the Channel Sales Manager, your strong technical and market knowledge will assist you in providing customers with efficient and effective solutions.


Your responsibilities:

  • Establishing, expanding and maintaining customer relationships as well as identifying the needs of potential customers,
  • Extensive and technically detailed consulting and sustainable support of our customers,
  • Checking customer specifications for technical feasibility, translating them into inquiries to internal plants and external sub-suppliers,
  • Clarifying deviations between specifications and offer with the customer and the supplier and documenting them in the offer,
  • Technical design of frequency inverters and motors in cooperation with suppliers,
  • Preparation of technically and commercially fully specified quotations in English,
  • Follow-up of offers with lost order analysis,
  • Development of rationalization potentials in the processing of offers,
  • Conducting technical and commercial award negotiations with external customers,
  • Ensuring a smooth project handover to the project management by project start by means of order notification, order calculation as well as preparation of order documents to the supplier plants.


Your background:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Automation Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Min 3 years experience is an advantage.
  • Proven technical aptitude with a knowledge of industrial processes & applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in Front-End Sales roles in B2B organizations in Industrial sector.
  • Experience in business development & account management.
  • Some exposure to working with EPCs, End Users, Consultants, System Integrators, Channel Partners and OEMs would be advantageous.
  • Well versed in MS Office application and CRM Systems.
  • Technical knowledge in the field of motors, converters and transformers.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
