Sales Executive

We are currently seeking a new team member as a Sales Executive at AC Hotel Istanbul Macka.

Responsibilities

  • · Perform general office duties to support Sales (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying).
  • · Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders).
  • · Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) as necessary to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
  • · Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, promotionalmaterials).
  • · Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott and our property, AC Hotel Istanbul Macka. Confidently convert enquiries into bookings and events with the support of Sales leadership
  • · Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process.
  • · Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events).
  • · Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
  • · Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns.

  • · Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
  • · Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.

Qualifications

  • · Bachelor Degree or equivalent required.
  • · Must be fluent in English language both spoken and written.
  • Computer literate in Opera, MS Office programs; some experience with property management systems preferred.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills in person, verbally & in written.
  • Speak using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Ability to use Opera and Marriott International related programs after joining necessary trainings
  • Past Marriott experience and PMS knowledge are plus.
