Art Director

Who we are

Akberg is one of the most popular and well-known Turkish companies in wine industry. We have a factory in Selçuk, a wine cellar in Şirince, an office in Göztepe and a new investment in Amsterdam. You can find our products in stores and supermarkets all over the country as well as EU, Japan and many more.

We’re now looking for new team members to join our growing organization! We have the ambitious mission of raising awareness of Turkish wine by creating more exposure of our brands accross the globe.

Job Brief

We're looking for a art director whom will create and develop overall designs, store visuals of Amsterdam, artworks or layouts etc.

Responsibilities

• Directly work with management as well as the brand department to create original graphic content for the Akberg's products, social media pages and other marketing materials

• Communicate with management to develop an aesthetic and brand that reflects the company's core values and ideals

• Design and post the store visuals of Amsterdam and contribute to e-commerce applications

• Review graphic materials to assess their validity and appropriateness for our brand

• Maintain graphic consistency across all deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in a related area or credible work experience

• Fluent in English (both oral and written)

• +5 years as a professional graphic designer

• Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign know-how (added bonus for Sketch and Invision) with a basic awareness of abilities of Solidworks etc.

• Exceptional conceptual abilities and art direction talent within a digital, traditional and multimedia landscape

• Present the vision. Eloquently explain every aspect of a creative solution and how it solves the client challenge. This means whip-smart Keynote skills and presentation prowess

• Knowledge of various packaging, printing techniques and material handling systems

• Ability to develop creative solutions and designs under tight business Schedule

• Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable

• Humble attitude—No egos here!
