QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree from a reputable university,
* Minimum10 years import and purchasing experience
* Excellent command of English
* Good knowledge of Purchasing, Negotiation, Cost Analysis, International Trade Rules and Regulations and Import Operations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs especially advanced excel techniques
* Experience in ERP
* Excellent command of communication and negotiation skills to engage with suppliers of different culture, size and manufacturing technology,
* Possessing of business discipline and responsibility.
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Making the purchase of the materials with best quality, best delivery, best price
* Getting price offers and follows up the deliveries
* Contacts with suppliers to obtain shipping documents for import process, controls and records them in ERP system
* Obtains necessary documents from suppliers and provides them to customs broker on time
* Contacts with customs broker for legal applications and customs clearance legislation, responsible for counseling all the related parties on import related matters like tariffs, insurance, quotas , costs etc.
* Closely contacts with the Finance department for managing and following bank operations of imported goods
* Delivers up related import documents to the accounting department on time.
* Responsible for documents related work flows, procedures and forms for Purchasing Department
* Responsible for archives necessary documents, contracts, mails, reports
* Making supplier agreements and renew them.
