We are looking for “Purchasing Specialist”.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , preferably Mechanical Engineering,
- Able to read technical drawings,
- Min. 3 years of experience in a similar field, preferably in trailer,commercial vehicle or automotive industry,
- Good command of SAP MM, MS Office applications,
- Good command of English, (preferably German as a second language), both written and spoken,
- Able to work with multinational team members,
- Strong communication skills,
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills,
- Experience in leading and working in international projects,
- No obstacle to travel both abroad and domestic,
- Living or willing to live in Adapazari region
- No military service obligation for the male candidates,
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Analysis and reporting of cost details,
- Cost reduction activities for parts via localization,
- Management of relations between suppliers and all Schmitz Companies,
- Handling of both direct and indirect Purchasing activities,
- Purchasing materials with desired quality and specifications, and with the optimal cost from confirmed suppliers within the given time
- Negotiating with Suppliers about Price/Payment Terms/Delivery Terms for both Products/Services
- Data Recording to Analyze the Purchasing Trend(s) and the Cost of Goods
- Conduct Quotation, contract and price negotiations
- Supplier Selection & Qualification & Monitoring according to the procedure and regulatory requirements with SQM
