QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
TASKS AND AUTHORIZATION:
- Assuming responsibility for international procurement, purchasing and logistics activities by WABAG-TR (ISO, TÜV, etc.)
- Undertaking supplier management responsibility on the basis of premises for supplier qualification, supplier assessment and supplier development
- Defining the preferred supplier for the key components and technology (supplier-target-structure)
- Negotiating and executing the framework agreement, sub-contracting agreements and consortium agreements with the strategic partners in Wastewater, Drinking water and Desalination sectors
- Developing and implementing the proper strategies for the enforcement of the best delivery and payment conditions (Securities, security deposits, payment terms, etc.)
- Conducting global procurement market research as well as surveillance of market, price and technology trends
- Developing alternative additional purchase strategies for key components and technologies
- Initializing and developing foreign currencies and/or material-hedging, if necessary
- Applying Capacity-Planning, Resources Management and management along withGroups-directives, CAD, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering
- Collecting, receiving and evaluating offers in accordance with specifications and requirements, preparatory allocations activities
- Applying final price negotiations, as well as preparing comparisons on company required form, OPP (Order Placing Proposal)
- Identifying the procurement strategy of related projects together with the project management team
- Determining procurement risks on project basis
- Preparing proposals
- Comparing prices before the final review meeting
- Assuming responsibility for market research, keeping abreast of suppliers and prices
- Conducting the final negotiations, completing supply and order work
- Detailing invoices before directing them to Accounting Department
