QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Direct Sales Channel Manager

As Phoenix Contact, we are the global market leader and innovator for electrification, networking, and automation on the path to a smart world. Now we are hiringDirect Sales Channel Manager in our Turkish team to enforce our power in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results; and develop and implement field sales action plans
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results
  • Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met
  • Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition
  • Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of Phoenix Contact Turkey 's relationship with them
  • Maintain data relative to clients, accounts and activities and will document customer interactions
  • Prepare reporting as needed

Proficiencies:

  • Graduated from Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering departments of universities
  • Knowledge of industrial electricity, switchgear, automation and in-panel equipment, with at least ten years of experience in active promotion and sales of these products
  • At least five years of experience in team management, business development and dealer management
  • No restrictions on domestic and international travel
  • At least B-class driver's license and can actively drive
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications and online meeting applications
  • High-level command of English and/or German, both written and spoken
  • Analytical thinker, takes initiative
