QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to care for our community of learners.
Qualifications:
- BA Nursing
- Fluent in English and Turkish
- Excellent knowledge of nursing/emergency care methods and procedures
- Experience is preferred
- Located in Istanbul
Responsibilities include:
- Passionate about children and members in the community.
- Work both independently and as part of a team; be flexible, observant, and able to prioritize effectively.
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Plan and implement emergency response procedures related to COVID-19 and other potential pandemics or outbreaks.
- Abide by all safety and hygiene measures according to general standards of nursing, the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education.
- Raise awareness and train the entire school community on all emergency and hygiene measures.
- Cope with potentially challenging situations such as child safeguarding
- Monitor children’s medical condition to provide the best possible care and advice.
- Adjust and administer students' medications and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
- Knowledge of computer software as nurses often perform administrative tasks such as updating students’ and staff’s medical records.
- Follow up on any other tasks requested by the school administration.
