QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, Master's degree would be an advantage
- 5+ years related experience, ideally in international environments
- Proven track record in developing software products in agile environments (Scrum & SAFe)
- Agile Product Owner certification (PSPO 1-3) is a plus
- Extensive experience with agile collaboration and product development tools (e.g. JIRA Software, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of project management, system/software development lifecycle (SDLC) techniques and various industry standard agile practices (DevOps, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Exposure to technologies such as node.JS, Javascript, TypeScript, Angular 6+, Web Services (REST), Postman, Micro-services Architecture and SQL
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal) is a must,
- Design Thinking expertise for innovation management
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in international teams
- No restriction for international travel
Job Description:
- Be an active member in a product focused scrum team
- Manages and owns the entire product line lifecycle from inception, strategic planning, operations to delivery
- Defines product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
- Communicates team status and organizes milestone reviews
- Actively participates in mitigating impediments which impacts successful completion of release/sprint goals
- Leads the product release plans and sets expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Negotiates priorities, scope, funding, and schedule
- Ensures that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear
- Keeps the stakeholders in loop with development process, demonstrate solutions and gather feedback
- Acts as escalation point for client issues that require product change resolution
- Ensures close collaboration with other PO’s in Stuttgart and aligns product portfolio with them
- Ensures continuous documentation of development and process status on Confluence/Jira
