QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
The Role
The Section Leader Engineering Mechanical delivers independently, on time and with good quality engineering products and, if requested, leads a small group of Mechanical engineers in such a way that their engineering products are delivered on time and of good quality. The Section Leader shall design mechanical aspects on the project as well.
Discipline activities:
• Diagrams
• 3D routing
• Component modelling
• Workshop information
• Arrangement of technical spaces
Key accountabilities:
• Is added to a project team by the Manager of Engineering Department and receives the project assignments from the Project Manager Engineering and, if he cannot perform all the work himself due to time, translates them to the small group that he/she manages professionally.
• Assists the Project Manager Engineering in monitoring the planning for the small group that he/she manages professionally.
• Prepares his/her own tasks and ensures a realistic own planning of work.
• Independently designs and/or models (especially complex) Mechanical structures / systems (i.e. piping, HVAC and cable trays).
• Independently draws up (especially complex) sketches,drawings,calculations and lists.
• Coordinates and controls engineering outsourcing.
• Is responsible for the approval of mandatory reports.
• Generates workshop information from models.
• Provides technical and substantive support for production and commissioning.
Skills & experience
• Knowledge at the level of Bachelor degree in Naval Architecture and Marine
Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive working knowledge of yacht mechanical engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of relevant regulations.
• Knowledge of and experience in the use of Cadmatic Outfitting and Autocad.
• Verbal and written skills in English.
• Willing to work in a dynamic environment.
• Result – oriented and strong monitoring and reporting skills.
• Living in or prepared to move to Antalya area.
• Ready to have business trips abroad.
• No military obligation for male candidates.
