QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications:
•Relevant academic degree in Security Sciences/Criminology, other related disciplines,
•Minimum 2 years of security experience, preferably in a relevant role in Logistics, Supply
Chain or Transport,
•Experience in a multinational enterprise environment with proven security management experience,
•Possess a strong teamwork ethic; must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team,
•Certification as a result of courses from professional security bodies,
•Legal national accreditations allowing for the performance of the required security tasks(e.g. private investigator’s license, security license, etc.),
•Knowledge of data protection legislation, criminal law, airfreight regulations and sector certifications (TAPA, AEO, ISO28000 etc.),
•Analytical ability to carry out investigations into performance and irregularities,
•Written and oral communication proficiency in local language and English required,
•Accurate in monitoring the correct application of regulations and legislation,
•Planning and organizational ability and result-oriented, in order to optimize organizational, personnel and budgetary processes,
•Social skills, motivation and negotiation skills.
Job Description:
•To adapt and co-ordinate the implementation of the DSC Regional Security polices and standards within the respective sub-region.
•Ensure fundamental security objectives of protection of people, physical & customer assets, sensitive internal information and public reputation are achieved.
•Develop & implement regional security standards and policies in line with regional standards and the DHL and Global Security framework.
•Manage/review/investigate security related incidents within area of responsibility and report metrics / trends and root causes to management.

•Developed and implement security awareness and security training programs.
•Represent DHLSC against government bodies.
•Management of the supply chain security assessment process.
•Ensure all Security Service Providers are fully compliant to the supply chain security standards.
