Wyser is an international search & selection company present in 3-continents.
We are looking for a ” Senior Accounting Specialist " to one of a leading global water technology company.
Job Summary: Assist in the day-to-day financial activities of the entity; control its accounting records and ensure that all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards. Drive the month- end closing processes to achieve accurate and timely reporting, having CPA certifination.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
- Preparing Monthly Closing Records (transfer records, fix assets control, sales control)
- Controlling trial balance all accounts
- Developing an in depth knowledge of local GAAP and international accounting rules and principles( Local GAAP, USGAAP)
- Leading the development of finance and accounting solutions by advising on, designing or optimizing financial and accounting processes
- Checking e-invoice, e-ledger, e-archive process
- Management of the procedures to start the implementation of e-book and e-invoice practices
- Good knowledge of Microsoft excel and other Microsoft applications
- Preparation of monthly financial reporting
- VAT, Social Security, Withholding, Stamp Duty and Advance Corporate Income Tax Returns - Annual Corporate Income Tax Return etc. issuance and submittance
- Reconciliations of chart of accounts
- Support the Chief Accountant to lead the accounting team, assess and provide feedback to fully develop high-performing accounting team.
- Maintain overall responsibility for managing Intercompany accounting and reporting (incl month end reconciliation, netting activities and IC non-trade recharges)
- Support for audit (internal & external)
- Support on Statutory preparation and Tax reporting
- Establish a positive & collaborative atmosphere in the company.
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting and Finance,
- At least 4-5 years of cumulated experience in the area of accounting and finance in multi-national environment
- Good command in English both verbal and written especially financial accounting
