ZEISS Turkey is currently seeking, highly motivated and experienced Senior Clinical Application Specialist/Engineer to represent ZEISS Medical Technology (MED) in İstanbul/Ankara.
As Senior Clinical Application Specialist/Engineer you will be responsible for all sales and application activities on ZEISS consumable product range (IOL’s and OVD's) in assigned territory and customers.
Your Job Description
- Provides clinical and technical training and support to ophthalmic HCP's on ZEISS Phaco Platforms
- Train and certify Physicians and Nurses/Technicians on the optimal use and maintenance of ZEISS Phaco equipment
- Conducts clinical education activities that facilitate learning regarding clinically relevant information to ophthalmic HCP's
- Provide timely follow up with ZEISS customers after all training activities
- Work in partnership with sales to provide scheduled visits to requested accounts
- Consistent communication with Sales Manager and Sales team on all activities and trained accounts
- Participates in meetings and supports trade shows to provide information useful to ophthalmic HCP's
- Participates in cross functional teams within ZEISS regarding customer preference, technical questions, complaints etc.
- Key interactions with leading cataract surgeons
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree from a university or equivalent experience is required
- A minimum of two (2) plus years of Phaco application experience is required
- A minimum of five (5) plus years of clinical application experience, preferably in Cataract surgery is preferred
- The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and support company goals and sales objectives, is required
- The ability to travel (up to 75%) is required
- A valid driver's license is required
