Our Tax Technologies team focuses on data-driven platforms or other intellectual property based solutions that leverage emerging technologies and new business models. Through the process of building new solutions, we foster a culture of innovation within PwC, extend brand relevance in the market, and generate new revenue. Our team is responsible for the design and development of our technology products and solutions for taxation practice of PwC teams or for PwC customers.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
- Conduct data analysis and generate actionable insights and make recommendations for improving, developing and launching products
- Communicate key results with self-serve tools (dashboards, analytics tools) for your product teams and key stakeholders
- Use feedback and reflection to develop self awareness, personal strengths and address development areas.Delegate to others to provide stretch opportunities and coach to help deliver results.Develop new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems.
- Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the business area.
- Review your work and that of others for quality, accuracy and relevance.

Job Requirements and Preferences:
Required Fields of Study
Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Economics, Statistics (Preferably from science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields but candidates from other majors who developed their analytical skills may also be considered.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- Experience with Python algorithms and related analytics libraries, a consistent track record of performing data analysis and process automation using Python
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau / Qlik / etc.) and having a visual insightful mindset
- Intermediate knowledge machine learning concepts and methods
- Good knowledge of SQL, scripting languages
- Having knowledge and hands-on experience of data structures and databases
- Ability to work well with a team in a fast paced agile development environment
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Analytics field
- Eager to learn new technologies or use existing ones in a different way
Role
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success, as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing needs in a consulting role, with experience in the following areas
- Design, develop, and support interactive visualizations that can be used by non-technical users up to the executive level
- Leading internal and external data related projects in a global network
- Interface cross departmentally to understand the needs and objectives of the business
- Perform data quality analysis to ensure data integrity and accuracy of reporting
- Develop end to end, reusable, efficient and secure solutions for PwC products
- Work with Product Managers and Software Engineers to deliver fascinating products
- Conforming to PwC processes, quality standards and guidelines
