ICBC Turkey Bank is searching for a Senior Database Administrator to be recruited under our Technology Center under our Head Office building located in Maslak, Istanbul.

Responsibilities of this role will be as below:

Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialised role
Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views
Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
Minimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
Provide proactive and reactive data management support
Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required

You need to have below qualifications to fit this role:

At least a BS Degree in Engineering fields
5+ years of experience in Oracle Database administration, installation, upgrade, patching (Certification is a plus)
Fluency in English both in written and verbal
Excellent communication skills
Experience in following skills and procedures:
Oracle Database Administration, installation, upgrade, patching
Database Backup, Restore and Recovery
Database performance, tuning, capacity planning and security
Oracle Data Guard and Oracle RAC
SQL Server Always On
MS SQL Server Administration
Unix, Linux operating system experience adequate for database administration operations.
Experience in Oracle Advanced Security is a plus
