QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
· Taking active role as electrical lead or senior engineer for the design engineering scope at assigned Projects.
· Leading a team of engineers and designers to complete the tasks assigned to fulfill the requirements of Project for the complete design engineering scope:
Electrical Systems (LV, MV, HV) Engineering.
Performing Load Flow, Short Circuit and other system studies at ETAP.
Generating Electrical Design Criteria, Specifications, Data Sheets, BoQs.
Preparation of Single Line Diagrams at all Voltage Levels
Preparation of Load List by coordinating with other disciplines
Electrical Equipment Sizing (Transformers, panels, cables, diesel generator, etc.)
System Calculations (Lighting, Grounding, Lightning Protection, etc.)
Layout Engineering (Equipment Layouts, Cable Routing, Grounding, etc.)
Performing Technical Bid Evaluation and Vendor Follow-up
Attending meetings with Client, Manufacturers, Other Disciplines.
· Performing Owner’s engineering works for the Projects undertaken as Owner’s Engineering.
· Manage and direct resources efficiently and effectively in order to catchup with the Project schedule with budgeted resources.
· Ensuring that the all works that are performed by Project team are compliant with standards, specifications, general practices and quality targets.
· Manage performance of direct reports.
Skills:
· Degree in Electrical Engineering with significant experience (more than 10 years) of Electrical System Design in Power Plant / Industrial / Oil&Gas Projects.
· Knowledge of electrical power systems, international codes & standards and Industry accepted electrical engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, DIgSILENT, etc.
· Ability to effectively manage resources (personnel, equipment, materials etc.) and inspire and motivate a team of engineers and designers.
· Initiative to coordinate problem resolution and to executive the schedule requirements within a team environment
· Effective communication skills with proficiency in technical writing and comprehensive documentation.
· Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive
· Proficiency in English Language
