THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in Istanbul office with at least 7-9 years of experience looking for the next step in their career.
You will need to have had Building Services Consultancy Design experience and will be a competent user of Relux or Dialux; BIM experience will be advantageous. If you can show initiative and have the qualities above, you can pave your way to a successful career with EDC. Relocation to international offices may be considered in the future.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Degree level in Electrical Engineering
- 6+ years Consultancy Design experience
- Proficient user of Relux/Dialux
- BIM experience advantageous
- Knowledge of CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Standards.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Proven experience of delivering detailed designs through the full design cycle.
- Excel at working on several projects simultaneously and show the ability to prioritise and plan work.
- Exhibit leadership qualities whilst working also as part of a team.
- Ability to make prompt, disciplined project decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- 1-3 years of experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM) detailing work
- Fluency in English
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the full Electrical Design on projects always demonstrating client care.
- Fulfil electrical design work as required.
- Provide quality control for Electrical Engineering projects across all offices.
- Management of both project teams and cross-functional teams within the organizational structure.
- Lead change in new systems and technologies.
- Mentor and develop less experienced Engineers.
- Assist BIM modellers to produce detailed working drawings in 3D and scheme drawings.
