QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
* This position may require taking part in the company's domestic and international(especially in Europe) operations. In addition to the following qualifications, the ideal candidate should not have any international travel restrictions.
As a team player, you work closely with the project team and are responsible for the calculation of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of offer calculations for demanding interior design projects.
- Responsible for receipt of accurate records of tender and contract documents (assisted by document controller)
- Prepare detailed bills of quantities to allow tenderers to price works accurately.
- Compile tender comparisons to ensure only complete sub-contract bids are considered.
- Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor offers.
- Development of special proposals and alternatives.
- Work closely with the supply chain to ensure they continue to provide competitive tenders, ensure delivery teams are aware of those sub-contractors that have contributed to ensure they are given a fair opportunity to secure work
- Support in procurement.
- Close cooperation with the commercial department and work preparation.
Your skills
- Completed university studies as an architect, civil/industrial engineer or training as a structural engineer.
- Experience in the calculation of interior design projects.
- Knowledge of different procurement routes, particularly design and build.
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and estimating software
- Confident handling of MS Office programs and relevant AVA software, ideally atitwo.
- Advanced knowledge of English.
- High customer orientation and a strong service mentality.
- Pronounced cost awareness and entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
- Safe and self-confident appearance as well as strong negotiating skills.
