QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer
Prometeia S.p.A, a leading provider of software solutions and consulting services for Risk Management, Financial Analysis, and Planning for financial institutions, is extending its capabilities by creating a data science team in Turkey region. Our team is looking for a senior application developer candidate that will be responsible of full-fledged software developments.
Candidate will be placed in the team of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) with an entrepreneurship soul and a focus on not only financial institutions' digitalization processes but also cross-sectoral real-world applications of AI. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering, software architecture and leadership skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development of application layers of POCs and/or AI products including BE, FE web applications and/or desktop applications.
- Coordinate activities with clients, keep track of project development tasks and deadlines
- Collaborate with both local and global data science business translators, machine learning engineers and clients from divergent industries
- Eager to follow state-of-the art software architecture technologies , prototype, implement and integrate ML/DL algorithms into real-world end-to-end applications.
- Lead analytical tasks like algorithm design, implementation, validation and testing
- Lead integration of the resulting system/software into existing production environment
- Willingness to multi-task, learn new technologies in a lean development environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 - 5+ years of strong industry experience in software development and architecture
- Proficiency and hands-on experience in coding with Java, Python is a plus
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming languages
- Proficiency in computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, operating systems, run-time analysis, object oriented design patterns.
- Experience in building full-fledged software applications and technologies like web services (SOAP, REST), Spring Boot, Maven, Spring MVC, JPA, Hibernate
- Experience in relational SQL and NoSQL (Redis, Mongo DB, Cassandra) databases and Elasticsearch
- Hands-on industry experience on one of FE development technologies: Javascript, CSS3, JQuery, Angular, NodeJs, Bootstrap
- Know-how on container platforms and on-cloud deployment (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with DevOps (Continous Integration, Continous Delivery) is a plus
- Experience in big data applications is a plus
- Experience in Linux/Unix operating system
SOFT SKILLS:
- Skill to effectively describe and report on complex ideas and projects
- Good communication and team-leading attitude
