QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Experienced Engineer, who will be responsible for the activities in the job description, who will be responsible for the following qualifications and work in the Mining Operations Directorate in Ankara.
QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Graduated from the geological engineering department of universities;
- Having 8 years or more of active work experience in the mining industry, with at least 5 years in the field of open pit/underground metallic mining;
- To manage all geological activities and to direct the team of geologists;
- He will lead the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment processes within the unit;
- Good command of written and spoken English;
- It would be an advantage to be able to use at least one of the 3D modeling programs, preferably datamine;
- Having knowledge and experience in structural, lithological and ore modeling;
- Expertise level knowledge in MS Office programs;
- Knowing the international mining coding systems;
- Knowledge of QA-QC protocols;
- Expert in underground and/or preferably aboveground ore production, classification of produced ore and determination of grade;
- Experienced in stock management and reconciliation;
- Able to follow up the annual budget planning and the actual-planned cost comparison on a monthly basis;
- Reporting to the Group Geologist, who is under the responsibility of the enterprise;
- Have managerial experience and leadership skills;
- Analytical thinking, highly motivated, solution oriented;
- Able to drive actively and have a driver's license.
