QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description- Propose new exploration ideas and targets in the region that are ranked based on both economic and geological criteria
- Perform geologic field reconnaissance and mapping for the identification of geologic hazards
- Select and prioritize drill targets from a variety of geologic setting within the regional and/or mine environment; design and coordinate subsequent exploration efforts
- Compile and manage incoming drilling data, interpret results, plot, present to management, engineering, planners on a timely basis, monitor QA-QC process
- Daily management and interaction of drilling teams or contractors, performing safety inspections and expediting re-supply of consumables as needed
- Utilize geological, geophysical and geochemical survey tools to support development additional targets within large land package, and prioritize exploration efforts
- Provide technical guidance to junior professionals and technicians assigned to work on a common project or technical area
- Evaluate acquisition and divestiture opportunities
Qualifications
- Targeting and planning of exploration programs
- Minimum BS degree in Geological Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of applicable experience
- Proficiency in both English and Turkish,
- Good written and verbal skills,
- Prospecting and mapping in licenses provided by the company,
- Collecting, recording samples and data from test sites,
