Argela, which develops 5G enabling & next-generation technologies for telecommunications, public and defense industry; is looking for an * Senior Java Engineer*
Job Description:
- Work with large, complex data sets. Solve difficult data transformation problems with efficiency, applying advanced SQL methods as needed.
- Conduct analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables.
- Build, develop, and test with a team of software engineering professionals to deliver data-driven solutions in support of established roadmaps.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software development experience in Java
- Proven knowledge of Java and an understanding of popular libraries and frameworks such as springboot, Jersey, hibernate etc
- Understanding of distributed system fundamentals.
- Experience with query building using PL/SQL on relational databases and queries on noSQL data-stores.
- Strong problem-solving skills, breaking down complex issues to find the root cause
- Keen attention to detail and willing to pay attention to the "small things".
- Confident in her/his ability to read, write, and troubleshoot Java code.
- Strong ability to work cross functionally with multiple teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
