QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforcing legal & local & corporate safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account, and that also minimize the carbon footprint.
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices in SAP system.
- Supervising the NC/CAPA activities related to manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
- Liaising with other engineers to develop maintenance plans and plans that improve production, costs and labor required.
- Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.
- Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production and sharing knowledge with co-workers.
- Creating budgets and plans for internal projects and following up using MSPO.
- Scheduling meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders when needed.
- Analyzing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement for current production lines and future projects.
- Obtaining any materials and equipment required. This includes the preparation of purchasing agreements with support of legal and financial teams and collecting various technical and financial information in order to identify the most feasible supplier.
What we are looking:
- Degree in engineering (experienced mechanical engineers in manufacturing, metal fabrication and lean production
- Proven experience in the mechanical engineering and manufacturing field with at least 3-4 years of experience.
- Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- 6 sigma training preferable
- Influency in English language is required (both reading, writing and speaking)
