Senior Project Development Engineer İş İlanı

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a “Senior Project Development Engineer” for our Limak Energy company, which operates in the fields of electricity generation, sales and trading.

General Qualifications:

• University degree (preferably in engineering – mechanical, electrical and/or electrical-electronics, industrial, energy systems),
• Knowledge in other energy systems is an advantage (MSc or MBA in the field of Energy Studies is an advantage),
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English,
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Turkish energy sector as a solar/wind project engineer including experience in some of these fields (i.e. project development, permitting, project implementation, project M&As, project valuation, DD studies),
• Technical know-how about solar and wind power generation technologies, yield assessments (knowledge about solar energy is a significant plus for candidates),
• Regulatory know-how about Turkish Electricity Market with experience about the permitting procedures. Track record in the development of solar projects,
• Advanced in excel and power point applications,
• Moderate understanding of project economics and financial modeling,
• Candidates with no travel restrictions.

Job Description:

• Supporting overall renewable project development and construction activities,
• Researching, gathering and analyzing data on various solar/renewable project opportunities in various regions. Providing relevant reports and solutions,
• Identifying land plots suited for pv/wind projects. Preparing necessary documents throughout the full permitting process including grid connection rights, land lease agreements and environmental studies,
• Managing communication with internal and external stakeholders (consultants, subcontractors, relevant state institutions etc.) for each project,
• Compiling periodic market developments and project status reports for advising the management and providing technical insights. Preparing technical specs, tender documents as well as contractual agreements when necessary,
• Continuous market research and reporting,
• Valuation support and preparation of the technical and financial inputs.
