QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Metalurgical and Materials)
- Msc. Degree in Metalurgical and Materials, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is a plus.
- Academic background on exractive metallurgy and ferroalloys is a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience in research and development
- Having academic writing skills,
- Published papers in respectable journals
- Having knowledge of preparing, managing and presenting R&D projects to the national and international institutes for getting fund and support.
- Excellent communication skills, and able to work in a multinational team environment
- Understanding needs of the market & customer
- Thinking broadly about business,
- Having desire to do outstanding jobs,
- Recognizing and understanding emotions of other people,
- Listening different perspectives and showing flexibility,
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good project management skills to deliver projects on time and at good quality
- Fluency in both written & spoken English, knowledge of a second language is a plus
- Good knowledge of MS office programs, preferably good knowledge of SAP

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Reporting to R&D Manager
- Bringing the ideas to the formal R&D projects
- Managing the R&D projects or coordinating the projects managed by consultants
- Cooperating with universities, institutes and other R&D centers to develop and complete R&D projects
- Track all R&D / Innovation projects
- Taking part in R&D projects both locally and globally
- Conducting various technical tests on metals and alloys
- Will be responsible for the development of new products and modifications of existing ones.
- Ensures the timely completion of new product development activities.
- Follow all R&D milestones for assigned projects.
- Performs all required testings to guarantee of a marketable final product.
- Conducting literature reviews
- Following up innovations and improvements in industry and making required analysis to support R&D activities.
- Will be in contact with all R&D departments, Sales & Marketing, QA, Planning and Production.
