Your Job Description
- Create, manage and facilitate process for new product introduction or optimization of existing portfolio
- Develop innovative solutions in partnership with Marketing and Sales teams to deliver a competitive advantage in the marketplace
- Drive cost savings on materials via optimization in partnership with purchasing and Suppliers
- Drive shelflife tests with teammembers
- Be in synch with business strategies across all segments as well as industry and market place trends and leverage to lead product innovations and developments
- Understand manufacturing processes and technologies and how ingredients/ materials can affect performance of these
- Strong project management skills to develop robust time lines and cost estimates for initiatives
- Influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and communicate effectively
- Support change management processes within the company
- Establish material/ product specifications for contract assemblers and raw material vendors and interfaces with Quality Assurance and Purchasing regarding material quality and vendor performance
- Work within a defined project management stage gate process through concept/feasibility/development stages and supports preparation of robust business cases and implementation plans
- Contribute subject matter expert on a defined innovation platform by keeping up to speed on industry developments and communicating to the regional R&D team, therefore feeding ideas and best practices into the innovation funnel
- Support the Operations brewing network on process, quality, and efficiency areas and troubleshooting as required
- Conduct tests and research on basic materials and properties.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in Engineering, MS degree is an asset
- Min. 3-4 years of experience, preferably in an FMCG company, Preferably 2-3 years experience in tea/beverage industries
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially excel
- A perfect communicator and team player in multi-cultural environment, self-motivated, strong work ethic, proactive
- Highly analytical and problem solver individual
- Problem solver, self-starter
- Intermediate knowledge about sensory analysis
- Multiple roles that have been both plant and corporate based with a strong track record of Product Development and Optimization
- No military obligation for male candidates
- Having driving licence and being able to travel occasionally
