QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to expand the activities of our German client Chr. Mayr GmbH + Co. KG (Mayr), a worldwide leading manufacturer of power transmission products including safety brakes, couplings, and clutches for applications in multiple industries. The position requires a self-motivated individual with a high work ethic to drive the development of our client’s business in Turkey.
Job Description:
- Maintain and develop the customer base in Turkey
- Take care of existing industrial customers with regular personal visits
- Support the customers regarding technical, commercial, and organizational issues
- Make frequent visits and develop relations with potential industrial customers
- Prepare quotations including custom-made solutions
- Support and coordinate with the dealers, attend joint visits
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities and the developments in the market
- Analyze the competitive landscape
Your Profile:
- Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar engineering degree
- At least two years of industrial sales experience, preferably in mechanical power transmission
- Strong technical understanding, and general knowledge about mechanical power transmission
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Advanced communication and persuasive skills
- Loyal, disciplined, and well-organized
- Good follow up ability, customer-oriented, and eager to succeed with a hands-on approach
- Conversant with MS Office applications
- Willingness to travel, and B-class valid driving license
- No military obligation for male candidates
