QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
EagleBurgmann Turkey is seeking for Senior Service Engineer / Rotating Machinery to support our growing local and international business in Service Department.
Basic Qualifications
- University degree in mechanical engineering
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position with machine elements preferably service for rotating equipment's.
- Proficiency in English; both written & verbal
- Has analytical thinking competence
- Prone to teamwork and open to development
- High customer focus
- Have strong organization, planning and follow-up direction
- Have an effective written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Confident, self-motivated with a flexible and proactive approach
- Ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced and global environment
- No restriction to travel
Job Summary
- Technical support to customers, including on site activities like installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, supervising.
- Technical support to service technicians
- Organisation of service center operations
- Evaluation of specific industrial rotating equipment applications, negotiations with design engineers and central divisions.
- Providing required activity reports to management
- Analyzes technical information for the purpose of providing adequate solutions to the client’s sealing needs. Makes recommendations for mechanical seal and and sealing systems operations.
- Responsible for evaluating failed seals as needed and providing a detailed failure analysis with application recommendations in Seal Failure Reports.
- Leads warranty response efforts and/or Root Cause Analysis on warranty incidents. Perform and publish on-site root cause and failure analysis (RCFA) reports as directed by customer site reliability improvement team
- Prepares technical proposals, reviews for service inquiries and works closely with customers.
- Troubleshoots products and systems when required. Documents findings & recommendations in a report.
- Maximizes customer satisfaction in a safety sensitive role. Compliant with all EagleBurgmann and customer site safety, health, and environmental requirements.
- Responsible for coordination of Service Contract activities. Meet and/or exceed the mutually agreed goals for success with each specific Service Contract.
- Develop and maintain site equipment surveys, presentations, technical guidelines and bad actor recommendations.
- Coordinate service agreement training initiatives designed to meet requirements.
