QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidate will efficiently and quickly write PHP in a timely and scalable way in order to improve the code-base of the company's products in meaningful ways. This candidate will be able to test the code and make adjustments where necessary. They should also be experienced in contributing to the whole software design lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Write clean, well-designed code
- Troubleshoot and test core product software to ensure strong optimization
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Experience in software development
- 3-5 years of software development experience.
- Understanding of object-oriented design (OOP), client-server architecture, and relational database design.
- Passion for best design and coding practices
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, tools, and PHP skills
- Experience with PHP, Modern Backend Framework (Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc.)
- Experience with SQL queries, MySQL, and database design
- Knowledge of client-side technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS, HTML5, and CSS preferred.
- Experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Github for source control.
- Have knowledge about Agile methodology
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with our development, creative and project management teams
- Proactive, problem solving, high job responsibility, and a strong team contributor
- Desire to grow the technical skill set into new areas as our technology evolves
- Very Good English
