QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
How do we describe the perfect fit?
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Software Engineering (Master Degree or Ph.D. is a plus) or a related area,
- Minimum 3 Years of Experience in the development of complex software systems,
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals in object-oriented design & problem solving
- Knowledge of Design Patterns, SOLID Design Principles & Clean Code,
- Strong knowledge of Java (Python, Go or NodeJS is a plus) programming language with a neat understanding of software architecture design in general,
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript programming language, HTML & CSS,
- Thorough understanding of SQL & Familiarity with NoSQL database systems,
- Knowledge of networking & light-weight messaging protocols,
- Being comfortable in test-driven development, agile methodologies, and Git workflow,
- Experience in design & development of Automated Tests for Mobile (Android, iOS) or Web & Backend (Cloud & Linux) Software Systems
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English

The position is located in Arçelik IoT Labs in "Ankara ODTÜ Teknokent".
How will you foster the challenge?
We are looking for a passionate Software Developer who will join our team at IoT Team, Arçelik IoT Labs located in Ankara ODTÜ Teknokent
- Developing Digital Twins Software to be deployed in AWS Cloud Environments,
- Developing automated test cases for Android, iOS, Web, Cloud & Embedded Applications for Arçelik's HomeWhiz IoT platform,
- Working as a member of Arçelik IoT Labs on the further development of the HomeWhiz roadmap,
- Coordinating with the Cloud/Mobile/Embedded/Design teams in solving problems, creating ideas, and improving tests,
- Participating in daily scrums and biweekly sprint planning rituals.
