Job Description
Airties is the most widely deployed provider of Wi-Fi Mesh solutions to operators around the globe. Airties designs and develops software and hardware that enables seamless wireless integration at the touch of a button, increased wireless speeds, and coverage throughout subscribers’ entire homes. The comprehensive product portfolio includes Wi-Fi mesh extenders, wireless set-top boxes and cloud-based Wi-Fi monitoring and optimization systems.
Airties is seeking Software Engineer to integrate Airties wireless mesh software on client service provider’s products. He/she will help scale the business by integrating the mesh software on various clients’ platforms.
The position requires technical depth to understand the solution, ability to customize the solution to the clients’ platforms, heavy integration and troubleshooting in multi-vendor environments, and of course good customer relationship skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulate, scope, and develop integration solutions for Airties mesh software specific to client platforms.
- Work with several parties (OEM, chipset vendor, client) to drive integration to client acceptance and deployment.
- The position requires very close and frequent interactions with clients to support testing and issue investigation as necessary. Travel to vendor or client locations for troubleshooting and detailed problem analysis may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or a related field,
- At least 5 years of Embedded Linux programming and Networking experience
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Proficiency in C programming
- WiFi software development experience is preferred
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in multi-vendor environments
- Experience working on large service provider CPE projects are preferred
- Ability to work under time constraints with verbal & written instructions of varying levels of detail and changing requirements
- Self-start capabilities and ability to handle dynamic, very fast-pace work environment
- Excellent problem analysis and solving skills
- Team-oriented, self-motivated and highly ambitious.
- Customer and business oriented, ability to travel
