QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

How do we describe the perfect fit?

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Energy Engineering, (A master degree is a plus)
• Minimum of 4 years practical experience in the fields of energy/resource efficiency
• Having experience in energy efficiency in production processes,
• Experience in energy audits in industry sector is strongly preferred,
• Experience in Energy Management System Standard Certification (ISO 50001:2018), preferably internal auditor,
• Experience in renewable energy, especially in solar,
• Having knowledge of the legislation on energy efficiency and unlicensed electricity generation,
• Having knowledge of carbon markets and carbon pricing mechanisms,
• Having experience in data analytics,
• Having Energy Manager certification, 
• Having experience in project management,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Mastery of Microsoft Office Programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Outside the box thinking ability,

How will you foster the challenge?

We are looking for a passionate Senior Specialist - Production Energy Efficiency who will  join our team at Quality, Sustainability and Corporate Affairs Directorate.

• Determination of short, medium and long-term energy and sustainability targets,
• Follow-up of new technologies for energy efficiency and renewable energy,
• Follow-up of incentive mechanisms and energy related legislations,
• Carrying out the application process for energy efficiency incentive programs such as Horizion Europe, VAP, Voluntary Agreements (Gönüllü Anlaşmalar) with local teams,
• Conduct on-site energy efficiency audits,
• Develop energy efficiency audit reports where technical and financial feasibilities of identified opportunities are assessed,
• To lead the ISO 50001 certification and surveillance audits of domestic and international factories,
• Planning / realization of awareness trainings for ISO 50001:2018 EnMS and Energy Efficiency,
• Representing Arçelik in meetings with NGOs and Public Institutions,
• Take part as a leader/member in energy efficiency projects and renewable energy investments
• Monitoring and reporting of Energy Efficiency KPI's,
• Providing support for Sustainability, CDP and Sustainability Indices Reports,
• Preparing and analyzing energy efficiency and renewable energy periodic reports,
• Reviewing energy efficiency activity lists with related stakeholders periodically,
