QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Design or Cognitive Sciences (Master’s/PhD preferred),
• 5+ years of experience in qualitative and quantitative user experience research, preferably in physical products,
• Working knowledge of product development process for both hardware and software products,
• Ability to prioritize and transform research findings into design recommendations within a highly technical project team and provide direction towards good UX as needed,
• Proven track record in mentoring fellow researchers and developing expertise,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams, with an agile mindset,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Excellent organization and time management skills,
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs,
• Flexible and open to new perspectives and diversity,
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset,
• Knowing what empathy really means,

What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Senior Specialist – Test&Verification/Usability who will join our team at R&D Directorate.

• Developing user research plans for R&D projects, tailored to specific project needs,
• Designing, conducting, and analyzing user research activities (usability tests, interviews, surveys) to bring user perspective into R&D projects,
• Leading user research agenda of ongoing projects,
• Preparing detailed and aesthetically pleasing presentations and reports to publish research findings,
• Collaborating with cross-functional design and development teams to provide timely feedback about ongoing projects,
• Developing standardized UX metrics for use in hardware/software product development,
• Developing long term expertise about user research within R&D via documentation and publication,
• Developing and maintaining an active working knowledge of user-centered research by benchmarking competitor products and following up published literature,
• Effectively managing time and resources in a fast-paced development environment.

 

The position is located in Çayırova.
