Main purpose of the job


The primary role of the System Analyst (SA) is to ensure that business & system processes and supporting systems continue to meet business project stakeholder needs. This position is a key position between the technical IT Development staff that implements solutions and the line-of-business staff. This individual provides solutions to business in generating legacy-reporting, audits, regulatory changes, designing new functionalities in the core systems. Also responsible for defining, planning, tracking the projects s/he is assigned. In addition, this individual is responsible for working with all IT members and heads. This position deals with the more tactical, discovering, validating, documenting, testing and communicating business related knowledge through modeling, simulating and analyzing current and future states. The SA follows the Pension regulation updates & changes to prepare the system analysis for core and peripheral systems and to take a role to update the other analysts in the SA Team.


Job Description


  • System analysis and design for Insurance Processes on Core and Peripheral Systems.
  • Provide direction and support to analysis team and other team managers.
  • Ensure the quality of the analysis in terms of the NN Standards.
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress, issues and risks of the projects in the projects.
  • Provide functional and methodological guidelines and instructions to the team and business partners.
  • Ensures that initiatives in the analysis team are aligned with business strategy and priorities.
  • Prioritizes GEV items & projects based on changing functional needs, regulation, risk exposure, and their interdependencies.
  • Hands-on experience in Pension and Life Insurance Industry.
  • Provides clear communication to all stakeholders in business & IT units.
  • Serves as the overall subject-matter expert in System Analysis knowledge areas.
  • Understand and convert business requirements into technical design and system analysis documents,
  • Perform functional testing throughout the software development life cycle,
  • Post-production support and problem handling.
