QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION


We are looking to hire a System Administrator to be based in our Istanbul Airport Office. You will provide support to internal and external customers in accordance with the terms of the customer contract and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

Provide Service Operations support to internal and external customers in accordance with the terms of the customer contract and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Carry out incident and problem management support to the highest standards and co-ordinate the resolution with the appropriate resolver groups.

Perform Change Management Configurations Design and Implementation of the supported Product & Systems.

We would like it if you have the below mentioned knowledge and experiences:

At least 3 years experience in implementation or support of infrastructure platforms, application deployments, implementing systems and modules with experience in multiple full lifecycle implementations.

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Technologies (2012/2014/2016) and core functions (Structured Query Language (SQL), T-SQL, SQL Jobs, SQL Reporting, Database Mirroring, Transaction Log shipping, backup&restore)

Extensive experience with Operating Systems (Microsoft W10/2012R2/2016/2019) and core functions (Active Directory, IIS, Message Queuing, Backup, Windows Deployment Services, DHCP, DNS, DFS)

Intermediate networking concepts

Desired Skills:

Experience with Microsoft Clustering Technologies (Failover Clusters, SQL Server Clusters)

Experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN) and SAN protocols (iSCSI, Fiber Channel)

Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware-ESX/ESXi/VSphere)

Experience with core networking and the OSI model (DNS/DHCP/VLANS/Routing/Firewalls/Access Lists, etc.)

Experience with Backup/restore application (Veeam, Ultrabac, BackupExec)

Experience with IBM integration platform applications (information broker/message queue/websphere application server)

We would like it if you have the below qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar.

MCSA and MCSE credentials are preferred but not a prerequisite.

Where applicable a recognized professional certification is desirable.

Knowledge of ITIL and Service Management practices and procedures
