QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Scope

  • Ensure that all guests are greeted courteously and attentively in the working area,
  • Attend regular meeting and briefing to keep informed of policies and procedures, special events, further improvement plans and guest comments,
  • Be familiar with food and beverage menus offered in restaurant,
  • Ensure the prompt and efficient service required by the restaurant standards,
  • Take order from any food & beverage menus,
  • Ensure all mis-en-place for restaurant service is correctly prepared prior to opening hour of service,
  • Follow the leadership of the captain or supervisor on shift,
  • Have a good knowledge of all menu and F&B day to day activities,
  • Maintain at all times the highest standard of social skills,
  • Report maintenances faults,
  • Work with an empathetic attitude and if there is any problem which cannot be handled, must contact Restaurant Manager/Asst. Restaurant Manager,
  • Make every effort to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of guest’s requests throughout service,
  • Ensure that you’re working area is of exemplary clean nature,
  • Fully understand the team goals and objectives, ensuring that the maximum is done to achieve the targets,
  • Be present throughout service,
  • Fill the forms that you assigned such as checklist, fridge temperature etc,
  • Be polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the restaurant is represented,
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from related departments of universities,
  • Two years or more of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel brand or restaurant,
  • Proficient in spoken English,
  • Knowledge of restaurant and bar procedures, set up and service,
  • Excellent customer service skills,
  • Ability to work on sliding shift.
