QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose of the Job:
Securing the high level, cost effective procurement of all the third-party services Türk Telekom International uses as part of its everyday business. The Service Procurement Specialist is a member of the Pricing & Service Procurement Department and is responsible for the procurement, cost management and product management for international data products (International Leased Lines and International Ethernet and VPN solutions).
Responsibilities and tasks of the job:
- Managing the procurement of various third party services (managed leased lines, dark fiber, IP transit).
- Maintaining databases related to the procurement activities
- Maintaining Türk Telekom International’s list prices reflecting the latest market changes
- Purchasing and cost management of international data services for corporate and wholesale clients.
- Negotiations with suppliers to reduce costs and to achieve a competitive cost base.
- Support sales in selling international data services (pricing, international market background information).
- Actively participate in internal and external events such as forums, seminars, trade shows and customer presentations and demos.
- Make, negotiate and meet yearly product plan and forecast.
- Management of supplier contracts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Min. 3 years’ experience in the telco industry
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- High level communication skills
- Knowledge of SAP and CRM
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to work in an international environment
