QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a GEORADAR SUPPORT SPECIALIST with the qualifications below,

Education & Experience:

  • University degree in an engineering department (geology, geophysics, mining, telecommunication, mechanical, electronics)
  • To have IT background is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers via e-mail and telephone during office hours
  • Make available troubleshooting procedures to local support partners or customers in a timely manner.
  • Make sure problems are solved in the most efficient and rapid way.
  • Liaise with engineering team for problems beyond the standard troubleshooting procedures
  • Provide periodical and on-demand on-site support to radar installations.
  • Develop troubleshooting competences and attitude to work in mining environments
  • Produce maintenance reports
  • Acquaint customers with new developments and products (pre-sales)
  • Produce installation reports
  • Develop and maintain good communication channels with customers and local support customers
  • Provide local support partners with knowledge and troubleshooting material to support local installations.
  • Periodic visit to customers for refresh training.
  • Ensure all reporting requirements are completed ahead of schedule.
  • Attend post-sales order review meetings
  • Keep track of warranty replacements through the entire cycle and make sure they are timely delivered to customers.
  • Prepare manuals and troubleshooting documents when instructed by direct supervisor.
  • Make sure all documents respect quality standards
  • Maintain a positive and team-building attitude with colleagues and clients.
  • Comply with all Company standards and requirements.
  • Comply with standards and requirements of Mining Companies when under their jurisdictions.
  • Report all hazards and unsafe acts.

Duties:

  • Customer support, hardware and software troubleshooting
  • On-site support and training
  • Redaction of a manuals and troubleshooting material
  • Data analysis and interpretation

Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient English written and oral skills is a must.
  • Good attitude to problem-solving
  • Basic knowledge of IT, electronic systems and good attitude to approach basic mechanical repairs
  • Have ability to carry out and complete specific projects to a high standard
  • Ability to communicate, forward plan, prioritize multiple tasks
  • Have good safety awareness
  • Able to travel and stay on site extensively domestic / international
  • Analytical skills for comprehending client’s business on solution oriented basis
  • Valid driving licence – Class B and able to drive actively
  • No military service obligation
  • Minimum 1-2 years experiences in similar positions
