QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Responsibilities
- Performing all Ships Agency operations within assigned site
- Responsible for the effective coordination of assigned port calls.
- Ensure proper monitoring of the vessel and attendance to any follow up enquiries.
- Establish and maintain vessel’s files and ensure that all transactional systems are updated real time.
- Ensure cost effectively Vessel Operations.
- This position reports to Ships Agency Operations Supervisor
Qualifications
- Preferably Maritime background and minimum 3 years’ experience in Ship Agency Operations (from A-Z)
- Good communication skills and command in English language (oral and written)
- Ability to have commercial correspondence with owners, charterers and technical managers.
- Computer literate (MS Office & cash management systems like DA desk)
- Efficient team player who can adapt to our young and energetic team
- Open to flexible working hours and ability to work under pressure
- Dynamic and committed to work discipline
- Result oriented and good analytical thinking skills
- Familiar with Port & local Authorities’ regulations, procedures and governing tariffs (Port / Strait/ PA/ Husbandry/Shipyard)
