QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Sigma Group is looking for enthusiastic IT&Network Specialist. A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined on job posting;
Roles and Responsibilities;
· Configuring, maintaining, and upgrading IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and firewalls.
· Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing a range of technical and/or user problems related to the site where the products/services are installed.
· Create and update documentation about installations.
· Ensure that configuration and asset information is correct and up to date.
· Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components.
· System software maintenance (OS, AD, etc.).
· Maintains system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems; designing and running system load/stress testing; escalating application problems to vendor.
· Secures system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation.
Qualifications / Experience;
· Network knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Routing Protocols, IPS, IDS, VLAN),
· Experience in virtualization (VMWare/ESXI),
· Experience with Unix Server Systems,
· Experience with Domain,Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS etc.
· Knowledge of IT Security Architecture, Information Security Standards and Policies
· Knowledge of backup solutions (Preferably Veeam),
· Knowledge of MAC clients,
· Cloud solutions experience,
· Basic Web Technologies is plus (Domain, SSL knowledge, E-mail),
· Able to handle 5651 logs and configure SIEM correlations,
· Proactive attitude and willingness to take responsibility, strong team player,
· Willing to work with documentation and standards, keeping all IT related documents up-to-date, (ISO 27001),
· Knowledge about physical system room architecture and different components such as network routing and switching, UPS, servers and backup/storage solutions,
· Good knowledge about common office equipment and technology such as printers, PC/laptops, LAN, Wi-Fi, screens and mobile devices
