Job Brief

We are looking for a qualified Social Media and Community Manager to join our team. If you are a self driven, tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, PR and promotional events, we would like to meet you.

Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.

Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.

Serve as a point of contact for the company’s and brands social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, forum and blog


Here’s what you’ll be doing here

• Set, plan, and implement social media and communication campaigns and to align with marketing strategies.

• Create, curate, publish and manage content across product web pages, product forums, various social media platforms and professional accounts

• Work with the marketing and creative team to create high quality, engaging, relevant, and timely content

• Perform benchmarking and competitive tracking as needed

• Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner.

• Present reports on monthly performance of social media channels

• Interact with community members and customers in a professional, personable, and timely manner to grow and keep the community alive.

• Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness.

• Liaise with development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features.

• Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists.


Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on experience within community management and/or social media management

• Solid knowledge of social media management tools

• An excellent grasp of the English language and super communication skills

• Hands on experience with social media management for brands

• Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics

• Experience in launching community initiatives (e.g., building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, and writing an email newsletter).

• Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g., repeat attendance at events).

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing(?) or equivalent qualification

• Nice to have

• Experience on Wordpress

• Experience on Content Management Systems

• International Market Experience

• Business Writing

• Basic knowledge on image editing
