Socotab Yaprak Tütün is one of the leading oriental leaf Tobacco merchants in the world, supplying quality, compliant oriental tobacco to the world’s top cigarette manufacturers and is looking for an ambitious and motivated candidate to join Operations team as an Leaf Tobacco Specialist to take part in South East Region of Turkey.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Leaf Tobacco Engineering
- Min. 3 years of relevant experience
- Good command of verbal and written English
- Competency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
- High level of planning & organizational ability
- No travel restrictions domestic or abroad
- Active driving license, ability to travel
Job Description;
- Manages, controls, reports and improves the agricultural stages of tobacco processes in line with company standards
- Determines tobacco quality and completes purchasing process in accordance with company standards, maintains necessary reporting throughout the season
- Trains farmers about all company values and rules including tobacco quality standards
- Keeps up to date with tobacco technology studies in terms of agriculture and processing
- Takes part in any tobacco related projects when necessary
