Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related area
  • At least 5 years of experience in support engineering or software development
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a software support environment involving handling tickets, working with software developers, creating documentation and managing client’s expectation with a great communication skill
  • Advanced in English both spoken and written is must (Dutch is a plus)
  • Excellent technical understanding (SQL and RDBMS) as well as analytical thinking skills
  • Good command of debugging and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of (at least) mid-high level in Windows Operating System
  • At least mid-level database querying skills (MS SQL Server) is an asset
  • Common understanding a software application architecture
  • Having good technical writing skills and using of support and good usage of support reporting tools
  • Excellent communication skills, customer orientation and organizational awareness
  • Collaborative team player, strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Successful in the time management and compatible with flexible working hours
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can handle changing priorities
  • High ability to following business processes, result and solution oriented
  • Open to learning, like to research and ability to produce efficient solutions
  • Having no restriction to travel.


What You Will Be Doing in this role:

  • You will be the best support engineer who loves converting thoughts and ideas into written solutions.
  • You will learn to excel in high-scale problem-solving that directly impacts hundreds (thousands) of product users and support agents.
  • You will become hands-on with the latest most-advanced cloud infrastructure (Azure).
  • You will be the go-to expert for an enterprise software product used by 20000+ farmers.


Main Responsibilities

  • Responding to partner and customer enquiries through email, ticket system and calls
  • Overseing and follow-up on open customer issues
  • Developing customer relationships through professional, dependable and accurate interactions
  • Recording and manage best practice resolutions for company’s self-service knowledge base
  • Extending technical support on software for internal and external clients.
  • Informing client functionality requests or software change requests to development team
  • Assisting software developers to resolve technical issues during the software development process
  • Managing resolution paths’ knowledge base and known issues
  • Offering proactive communication to clients, account managers and project managers
  • Supervising technical support forum and website
  • Working with rest of the team and the project manager to ensure support calls are closed in a timely fashion
  • Replying to customer mission critical issues even if it's outside of the working hours is a great plus.
