QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Definition: The Social media specialist will lead our company’s social media presence. Social Media Specialist will build and develop an expanding team. The Social Media Specialist is experienced in growing a brand, establishing a community, cultivating superfans, and enhancing engagement. The Social Media Specialist will act as the face and voice of company’s brand and manage all communications. The Social Media Specialist will have demonstrated ability to problem-solve and create opportunities, will engage users and anticipate the needs of the community.

Responsibilities

· Write, edit, and publish engaging content for various social networks, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram

· Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message, market) based on our target audience's characteristics and preferences.

· Manage content, including oversight of all published content (images, video, written and audio/podcast)

· Create new ways to engage with social audience

· Handle or escalate brand engagement opportunities on social media

· Daily/weekly publishing and reporting responsibilities, Compile weekly and monthly social reports

· Partner closely on the development and implementation of social media initiatives

· Report key performance metrics and analyze their implications

· Develop strategic recommendations for improvement

· Collaborate to ensure maximum cross-channel efficiency

· Identify social media campaign KPIs and create reports post-campaign

· Perform other duties when needed

Requirements

· Advanced level of English at the level of written and verbal communication

· 3-5 years’ experience using Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit and TikTok

· Proven ability to utilize social media to drive client goals - to include increased followers and engagement

· Experience creating social media strategy

· Able to create engaging content and posts

· Managed teams to execute on client goals

· Creative, smart, hard working

· A deep appreciation for cultural, internet and content trends

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy

· Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills

· A passion for collaboration and fruitful communications

· Proven track record of organically growing social channel connections

· Experience working with cross-functional teams

· Project management expertise

· Ability to thrive in a startup environment

· Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
