We are looking for an Spa Receptionist who is dynamic, creative, pro-active, analytical approached, enthusiastic, innovative and has strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
· Minimum Tourism High School degree
· Minimum 3 years of experience with Wellness Luxury Hotel experience in the spa or at least in front office
· Knowledge about spa and hotel software like opera, micros, Booker, spa soft, or similar
· Working knowledge of spa services and products
· Excellent command on both verbal and written in English
· Additional languages are beneficial
· Excellent computer skills with Microsoft applications
· Provide exceptional guest service to all clients
· Ability to work on different shifts according to the needs of the operations
Duties and Responsibilities
· Makes, reconfirms and verifies guest bookings
· Checks and assists with the set up of daily operations of the spa reception according to Alatia Spa standards
· Provides service promptly, courteously and accurately
· Requests and collects stock and supplies in accordance with minimum stock levels
· Studies and evaluates operations and procedures and suggests improvements to the management
· Ensures the cleanliness and hygiene of the reception area and spa concentrating on front of house areas
· Removes and replaces towels and amenities in the wet areas as needed
· Ensures retail is offered appropriately to the guests
· Participates in the sale or upselling of retail products, ensuring the retail target is achieved
· Handles guest complaints and records all guest comments accordingly
· Prepares guest bills
· Manages appointment cards or appointment schedules for the following day
· Answers the telephone
· May need to escort guests to and from the wet areas or as otherwise required.
· Be polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the hotel is represented.
